Holly Williams, granddaughter of Hank Williams, sings “No Surrender” on Dead Man’s Town: A Tribute To Born In The USA. This year marks the 30th anniversary of Springsteen’s 1984 hit album.
“It’s always intimidating to do a cover of anyone else’s song, especially when it’s written from one of the greatest living songwriters of our generation,” says Williams, in USA TODAY. “All I can say is I was incredibly honored to be asked to be a part of this tribute to The Boss, and I really hope he is pleased with the outcome.”
Dead Man’s Town: A Tribute To Born In The USA is scheduled for release on September 16.
